Common questions.

Do I need to be local to Caddo Mills to work with you? +

Nope. I work with businesses across DFW and North Texas, and I'm happy to work remotely with clients anywhere. That said, if you're local to the East DFW area — Caddo Mills, Royse City, Greenville, McKinney, Wylie — I can absolutely meet in person. The advantage of being local is I live and breathe your market.

How long does it take to build a website? +

Two weeks is a reasonable target, but honestly a lot of projects ship faster than that. The biggest variable is you — if you can get me your photos, content, and feedback quickly, we move quickly. I've launched sites in a matter of days when everything lined up. If you need help sourcing photos or figuring out copy, we can build that into the timeline without a problem.

Do you use WordPress? What's the tech stack? +

I don't use WordPress or page builders like Wix, Squarespace, or Elementor. Every site is custom-coded HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript — which is why they load so fast and score so high on PageSpeed. No plugins to maintain, no security vulnerabilities to patch, no monthly builder fees. If you specifically need a CMS to update your own content, I can build that in — we'll talk about what makes sense for your situation.

Will my site rank on Google? +

I can't guarantee specific rankings — nobody can, and anyone who says otherwise is lying. What I can do is build your site the right way from the ground up: proper HTML structure, schema markup, fast load times, mobile-first design, local keyword targeting, and Google Business integration. These are the things Google actually rewards. The sites I've built have all seen meaningful improvements in local search visibility within a few months of launch.

What do I need to provide? +

Ideally: your logo (or I can help you get one), a handful of good photos of your business or work, a rough idea of what pages you need, and your thoughts on tone and style. I'll handle copy suggestions, layout, design, and everything technical. The more you can share up front, the faster we move — but I'm used to working with clients who have very little "ready" and guiding them through it.

What happens after the site launches? +

That's up to you. Essential and Professional projects come with a full hand-off — you own it completely. I'm available for one-off updates at a straightforward rate. If you want ongoing SEO, ads, reporting, or custom tools built out over time, the Growth Partner retainer covers all of that. Either way, you're never locked in — no long-term contracts, no holding your domain hostage.

Can you help if I already have a site that just needs improvement? +

Yes. Sometimes a full rebuild is the right call; sometimes targeted improvements are enough. I'll look at your existing site and give you an honest assessment — whether that's "here's what to fix" or "you need to start fresh." If your site is on a platform I can work with, I can often fix specific issues (speed, SEO, mobile layout, conversion copy) without a full rebuild. Send me a message and I'll take a look.
