Taking on new projects now

Your website should be
bringing you work.

I’m Dan Horn, and I build websites for small businesses around North Texas. Restaurants, shops, clinics, and a fair few trades that fit none of those. What you’re paying for is turning up when somebody nearby goes looking, and being the one they decide to call.

Free website check, no obligation, usually back to you the same day

Sound familiar?

Said any of these out loud lately?

Six things I hear constantly from owners around here. All six are fixable and none of them are your fault.

“My site looks bad on a phone.”

Your customer is standing in a parking lot holding a phone. That’s the only screen that counts.

“Nobody can find me on Google.”

Page one for your town and your trade, or the shop down the road gets those calls. There’s no third option.

“People visit the site but never call.”

Traffic that never turns into work is just a bill you’re paying. Nine times out of ten the page is unclear about what to do next.

“It costs me every time I change my hours.”

Changing your hours should never have been billable. Text me, or do it yourself in the editor. Both are free on most plans.

“I built it on Wix and it got away from me.”

Happens constantly, and it isn’t your fault. Those builders are sold as easy right up until you need one specific thing.

“My old web guy disappeared.”

I hear this more than anything else on the list. I’m a real person in Caddo Mills and my number is at the top of this page.

What I do

Everything that makes the phone ring.

You don’t need six vendors and somebody to manage them. One person who understands your business and picks up when you call will do.

Live proof · North Texas

Go look at these before you call me.

Every site below is live right now. All three belong to businesses I still work with, and any one of those owners will pick up the phone and tell you what I’m actually like to deal with.

Wells Cattle Co website
Case study · Rockwall, TX

A food truck turned two-location burger joint, and the site that finally matched the food.

Wells Cattle Co has taken Best Burger in Rockwall year after year. The owner called me himself and asked for a website that lived up to the standard of his food. Here is what we built and why.

Who you’re actually hiring

You get me. That’s the whole model.

I work out of Caddo Mills and build every site myself. Nobody forwards your email to somebody else, because there is nobody else.

No offshore team, no ticket queue, and no one who will ever tell you your request falls outside the scope of your plan. The client list stays small on purpose. People stay with me because they can text on a Saturday afternoon and get an answer, and that stops being true somewhere around client number forty.

Near Caddo Mills, Rockwall, Royse City or Greenville and you’d rather shake a hand first? I’ll come to you. And if you’d prefer we never meet and just do the whole thing by text, that works too. I’ve built entire websites that way.

How it works

Four steps, and no discovery phase.

Most sites go live inside three weeks. Photos are usually what holds it up.

01

We talk for twenty minutes

On the phone, over text, or across a table somewhere near Caddo Mills if you’d rather. I ask about your business and what you need the site to do. There is no pitch deck.

02

I build the actual thing

You get real pages you can click through on your phone, not wireframes or a mockup in Figma. Tell me what to change and I change it, usually the same day.

03

We get it right before it goes live

Tested on real devices, copy tightened, every button pressed. The faster you get me photos and content, the faster this part goes.

04

It launches, and I stay

Domain, SSL, Google and analytics all handled. Then I’m still here. Most of my clients have been with me for years and they still text me directly.

Packages

Three packages. Yours is whichever sentence sounds like you.

Every one comes with hosting, SSL, and me on the other end of a text. Numbers come from a phone call, because your job and your town change the answer.

“Nobody can find me online.”

Get Found

A real website that loads fast, looks right on a phone, and turns up when somebody nearby searches for what you do.

“People find me, but they don’t call.”

Get Booked

Everything in Get Found, plus the pieces that turn a visitor into a booking. You also get to change your own menu, hours and specials whenever you like.

“I want more, and I want it faster.”

Get Growing

Site, search, ads and custom software, run as one thing by one person who answers his own phone.

Keeping it current

Two ways to change something, and both are easy.

Every site I build has moving parts. Hours, prices, specials, photos. You should never be stuck waiting on somebody to change them, and nobody should be billing you for a two-minute edit.

Option one, and the one most people use

Text me. It’s usually done before you set the phone down.

New price, new photo, closing early on Christmas Eve. Send it however you like: call, text, email, Facebook message. I’m usually on it right away, and I’m not going to nickel and dime you over the small stuff that comes up week to week.

Most of my clients work this way and it’s a big part of why they stay. No support ticket. No portal login you’ve forgotten the password to. No waiting three days on a web company that stopped caring about your account in 2023.

Option two, if you’d rather not wait on anyone

Or do it yourself from your phone in about fifteen seconds.

On the packages that include it you get a plain editor for the parts that move. It looks like filling out a form rather than building a page, so there’s nothing to learn. You can’t break the layout and you can’t accidentally take the site down.

Hours and closuresPricesPhotosSpecials and offersStaff and servicesAnnouncements

Some owners are in there daily. Others have never once opened it and just text me instead. Both are fine. It’s there if you want it.

The moving parts are yours. Everything underneath is mine. Hosting, security, updates, backups, speed, and anything that goes properly wrong at two in the morning stays with me on every plan. You never have to think about it.

No cost, no catch

Want to know what’s costing you calls?

Send me your website. I’ll go through it properly and send you a link with everything I found: what’s working, what’s costing you calls, and what I’d fix first. Read it on your own, or we’ll walk through it together on a call or a quick screen share. No charge, no pitch.

Straight answers

Questions people actually ask

If yours isn’t here, call and ask. You’ll get a straight answer even when the answer is that you don’t need me yet.

Depends what you need, and I’d rather give you a real number than a range. Most small business sites land in one of three packages: getting found, getting booked, or going after growth properly. Call or text me and you’ll know which one fits and what it costs, usually inside five minutes.

Nope. I built North Garland Dental’s entire website over Facebook Messenger and one phone call, and I’ve still never been to their office. If you’re anywhere near Caddo Mills, Rockwall, Royse City or Greenville and you’d rather sit down with somebody, I’m glad to drive out. Pick whichever suits you.

No. Those four just happen to be where I have the most examples. I’ve also built for a dental practice, an RV resort, a magician, a metal artist, a 14U softball team, a bakery and an oil change shop. Your trade matters a lot less than whether you genuinely want the thing to work.

Send it over and I’ll do a free website check. I go through the site properly and send you a link with what’s working, what’s costing you calls, and what I’d fix first. Read it on your own time, or get me on the phone and we’ll walk through it together. A quick Zoom works too.

Yes, on the packages that include it. Menus, hours, specials, photos, all from your phone. You’re never obliged to though. Most of my clients text me the change and I handle it, usually within the hour. The editor exists so you’re never stuck waiting on me.

Two to three weeks for most. What actually sets the timeline is how fast photos and content come back from you. The building is rarely what holds things up.

Me. Dan Horn, Caddo Mills, Texas. No account manager, no offshore team, no ticket queue. You get my phone number and you use it. That’s the entire model, and it’s why I keep the client list smaller than I could.
