From the first call to a live site in about three weeks.
Simple and personal from start to finish. You talk with the person who builds it, you watch it come together on your phone, and you say when it’s just right.
- Day one
A friendly twenty-minute chat
Phone, text, or a table somewhere near Caddo Mills. I’ll ask what your business does, who calls you, and what you’d love your website to do better. You’ll know which package fits and what it costs before we hang up.
What I need from you: Tell me what you’d like to change about the site you have now. That’s all I need to get started.
- First few days
I start building
You’ll see the real site, not a slide deck. Within a few days you get the first pages on a private preview link you can open on your phone and click through, the same way your customers will.
What I need from you: Your logo, whatever photos you have, and your prices or menu. Phone photos are fine to start with.
- Week two
You take a look, I fine-tune it
Text me anything you’d like changed: a price, a photo, a word you’d never use. Most changes are on the preview the same day. Then I test it on real phones, press every button, and check every form lands where it should.
What I need from you: Look at it on your phone, the way a customer would. Please be picky. I want you to love it.
- Week three
It goes live
I point your domain at it, set up the SSL, connect your Google Business Profile, tell Google about the new pages, and redirect your old addresses so nothing you’ve built up is lost. I’ll handle all the technical parts for you.
What I need from you: Login to wherever your domain is registered, or let me walk you through it on the phone.
- Every week after
I’m still here for you
Hosting, security, backups and updates are all taken care of. Need a change? Text me and it’s usually done within the hour. Most of my clients have been with me for years.
What I need from you: Nothing at all. Just text me when something changes in your business.
What usually slows a website down.
It’s rarely the building. It’s usually one of these three, and all of them are easy to sort out before we start.
Photos
The most common reason a site waits. Phone photos are perfectly fine to launch with, and we can swap in new ones later.
Domain access
If no one remembers who registered the domain, tracking it down can take longer than building the site. It’s worth a quick check today.
Waiting on approvals
When several people need to sign off, it naturally takes a little longer. Having one decision-maker keeps things moving nicely.
Wondering why I build every site by hand instead of on Wix or Squarespace? Here’s a friendly explanation.
Timeline questions
Two to three weeks for most small business sites. The build is rarely the slow part. The pace mostly depends on how quickly photos, prices and domain access come together.
No, I’m happy to take care of that. Tell me about your business on the phone and I’ll write it, in plain English that sounds like you. You correct anything I got wrong, since you know your business best.
Yes, the whole way through. Within a few days there’s a private preview link you can open on your phone. Nothing goes live until you’ve said it’s right.
Just let me know on the first call. If you can get me photos and content quickly, a simple site can move a lot faster than three weeks.
It stays up until the new one is ready, so you’re never without a site. On launch day I redirect the old page addresses to the new ones, so links people saved and pages Google already knows still land somewhere useful.
Not at all. Plenty of sites are built entirely over text and one phone call. If you’re near Caddo Mills, Rockwall, Royse City or Greenville and you’d like to sit down, I’m glad to drive out.
Ready to get started?
Call or text me and we’ll have that twenty-minute chat. I’d love to hear about your business, and you’ll know what it costs and when it’ll be live before we hang up.
